This Week: Double Share Night!

Just a reminder for Sparks and T&T, this week is Double Share Night. So for every section you do in your handbook, you’ll receive 2 AWANA shares instead of 1! It’s a great week to work extra hard on your handbooks!
Also, Sparks and T&T will have special guest speakers this week. We’re not ruining the surprise, so you’ll have to come to see who they are!

This Week: Gloves & Mittens Night

Weekly Update: 11/19

-We are collecting canned food for the St. Louis Food Bank to help out those who need some help getting food this winter. This is the last week of collections, so please bring them this Friday!
-AWANA is cancelled on 11/26, but SLCCC is having a Thanksgiving Program that you are welcome to come to.

The Schoonovers are coming!

This Friday, October 8th, we’ll be welcoming some very special guests – Mark & Marjorie Schoonover. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, they’re the AWANA missionary family that oversees the Central/Eastern Missouri area. Years ago, they were the missionaries who helped us set up our AWANA program at SLCCC. Don’t miss out on getting the chance to meet them!
Also, it’s Welcome to the Future Night this week, so clubbers be creative! Those who participate will earn an AWANA share!

This Week: Missions Conference

Our church will be having its annual Missions Conference this weekend, so there will be a few adjustments to AWANA this week:
-Clubbers should meet in the multipurpose room for Opening Ceremony instead of the sanctuary
-Parents of Cubbies/Sparks who are attending the conference should pick up their children at their classroom immediately after the conference.
We’ll be learning more about the missionary we’re supporting this Fall/Winter this upcoming Friday, so be sure to ask your children who it is and what they do!
